The Slow and Steady Metre Gauge Ride - 1

Pictures from from recent ride - Akola to Mhow by a Metre gauge train.
Train : 52974 Akola - Mhow MG Passenger
Loco : MHOW YDM4 #6717

Fell in love with this livery the moment i saw it, Mhow YDM4 #6717 will be the power for my train

YDM4 coming out of sleep disturbs this dog's sleep

We depart dot on time, another YDM4 and BG side of Akola can be seen

All eyes on the Token Exchange at Ugwe

                                                                                  Dogs on the move

Flags were used to help the loco pilots at Gandhi Smarak Road / Railway men were unloading materials from the train here for some work.

BG sleepers for MG going on through out the route, a good idea for gauge conversion in future.

The Sun comes out and clears the sky

Early morning comfortable sleep, a common sight among daily travelers

Face to face, Red YDM4's at Patsul

The Beauty, power for my train

The first crossing, 52993 Mhow Akola Passenger

He started selling the oranges at 10 for 6, as journey continued it became 10 for 8 and finally 10 for 10

We then depart from Patsul and have a look at the old caboose counting their time

                                                                           In Mother's safe hands !!

A brother bringing his sibling to show trains, not seen in cities nowadays

More MG rails with BG Sleepers, Hiwar Khed

                                                                          Time was just ticking by

                                                                                   Wan Road Outer Signal
